2022.01.25 16:53 Ragnaroknight Why I'm betting heavy on Fisker Automotive ($FSR)
Right now I believe Fisker is insanely undervalued, at least compared to EV rivals like Lucid, Rivian, Tesla, ect.
The Marketcap of Fisker is sitting at only $3.5-3.8 Billion (this is 1/15th what Lucid is worth, and 1/14th of Rivian) after this market dip, down over 30% in the last month alone, and down 70% from just 3 months ago where it was valued at $24/share.
Fisker states as of January this year they have 24,500 reservations of their Fisker Ocean EUV, which is priced at a range of $37,500- 69,000. With he median value between all trims being $53,250. If they actually manage to sell/produce that many vehicles at that median value, that would put their revenue at around $1.3 billion dollars, based on just the reservations they have now. That's roughly 30% of their entire valuation.(Obviously revenue is not direct profit). But this gives it a much better P/S ratio of all the direct competition.
To put that into perspective Lucid states it has 17,000 reservations as of November. But for the sake of argument let's call it 20,000. And for the sake of argument let's say all of these cars are their most expensive model, the Lucid Air Dream at $170,000. If they managed to sell all of these vehicles at that price, it would be around $3.4billion in revenue, this is still 5-6x less of their total valuation of $60 Billion Dollars.
Do I think Fisker, Rivian, or Lucid will actually be able to produce all the vehicles they have reservations for? Absolutely not.
But I do think Fisker is values more in line with what they might actually be capable of, and have set themselves a slightly less ridiculous timeline. And the fact they've actually made, sold, and shipped cars in the past gives me some hope they might actually have some chance.
I also want to throw out I'd bet on an actually affordable SUV over an insanely expensive luxury sedan any day of the week.
Not telling my exact positions but I have $20 calls ending later this year, and $30 calls early next year after their supposed production start date of November, 2022.
Idk this all seems to make sense in my head, am I missing something? Am I retarded?

2022.01.25 16:53 Character_View_5366 Off Campus Apartment Hunting Advice
For someone who doesn't know much about off campus living, I don't really know what I should be looking for. I also don't currently have someone to live with. I was wondering if someone could provide me with some advice on what I should be looking for when searching for an off campus apartment. I do not intend on living alone. What is an ideal price range to be looking for around here? Please let me know if my question is not clear enough, thanks!

2022.01.25 16:53 cneyj Dog Willfully Ignores Me
6/7ish year old puggle
Okay so he's been doing this for a long time and I'm really curious what he's trying to communicate.
So he and I will do some basic tricks that he definitely knows well. Sometimes, and I can't quite pinpoint when, he makes a very active decision to ignore me. Like I'll say his name and he'll start to turn his head toward me, but then you can see him make the decision not to look and he pointedly ignores me.
Another example- We were kind of messing around with getting him to put his 2 front paws on my arm like he was perched and he was doing ok with it. Not his favorite trick but he gets the really good treats for doing it, so he complies. Anyway, I put out my arm, say my command and he starts to go for it, then about 1/3 of the way through the action he decides not to do it, and then pointedly looks away from me, and won't look at me but also doesn't walk away.
I know that ignoring behavior is typically a way for dogs to communicate that some behavior is rude or unwanted, but it's not very often that he does it and honestly I just don't see what is triggering this response. It's not like we do training for more than 5-10 minutes depending on his responses so I don't think I'm pushing him too far (he gives me the "I'm calling the union" bark if I do). And these aren't the only times he does this, it's just the two that came to mind most readily.
Any insight is appreciated

Is Lapp's questline broken? He's standing near the earthen peak bonfire and dialogue is on loop about he's fetched the treasure for me, but he gives me nothing? Is there anyway I can progress his questline? I need to go find his treasure?

Genuine question. What’s your goal? Change their mind?
There are a lot of aggressively pointed remarks trashing the FANS of certain characters or storylines.
Personally, that’s not what I come here for.
I mean it’s your time, if you want to spend it being a hater, then by all means. Seems like a waste of breath and energy to me.

2022.01.25 16:53 Diegomdelosreyes Do More Than You Consume
“Talk is cheap and ineffective while creating something is much more challenging and effective to make change in the world.” - Pieter Levels
You’ll learn more from taking action than reading a book or watching a course.
It’s taken me a long time to realize this. I’ve always been the guy that’s studied everything about a topic before doing anything that a book, course, or podcast has told me to do. I’ve always told myself, “Once I finish learning X, then I’ll start doing X. But only after I’ve mastered it . . . only once I really get it.”
Eventually I finish studying, and I wonder why I still don’t know what I’m doing.
Thinking it’s a lack of knowledge, I pick up another book and end up in a unique form of procrastination—consuming more than doing.
Self-improvement can do this to us.
We tell ourselves we’re not ready. We think we need to study more, learn more, wait more.
So we watch another YouTube video. We listen to another podcast. We buy another course. We devour another book. We tinker with yet another productivity app.
But if our goal is to be more productive, learn new things, and grow as individuals, then we should be doing more than we consume. We should be practicing as we study. We should be exploring our style through consistent action.
You can’t learn writing, painting, marketing, selling, leading, coding, gardening, parenting, photography, videography, web development, etc., without actually doing those things.
Now I’m not saying books, courses, and podcasts aren’t beneficial.
They’re helpful, and it’s hard to get better without guidance from experts. But it’s important to know when the guidance you’re seeking is becoming a crutch. Because it feels more productive to watch another video on how to start a YouTube channel than to actually stand in front of a camera and stumble your way through a 3-minute monologue about your favorite lesson from Atomic Habits and how it’s changed your life.
With the abundance of information out there, I understand why we consume more than we do. But we’ll never know what we’re capable of if we always expect an expert to tell us what to do. We’ll never truly learn if we don’t repeatedly take action and fail our way to mastery.
